Good sturdy and water resistant shoes.
Winter/spring/fall: If you wear rubber boots, make sure to wear woolly socks underneath. When we stop to smell the roses, your toes can easily get cold.
Layered clothing. Better too much than too little. During stops you will cool off and the forest is shady and cool.
Something to drink when it is hot outside. All other occasions, I carry the refreshments with me so you can walk freely.
Generally the walks take about 2-3 hours and the distance we cover is anywhere from 2 to 7 km. To enjoy the silence and to make sure we do not run into crowds that can disrupt us, the walks take place early in the morning or later in the afternoon/evening, depending on the season and the daylight hours. Children are welcome to join, but with the understanding, that these are calm walks with little noise.
I organize walks on request only. I have walked with people who want to escape the rat race for a while; for stress busting; for alternative activity on a Sunday morning; a birthday present; a farewell present...On top of this, Forest Mind walks can be used as a refreshing team building event, refresher at a training or a course, tailor made for a specific groups with specific themes. Get in touch with me and we can plan a walk together! Also, if you would be interested in going for a Forest Mind walk in another location, let me know! I am always curious to learn to know new places.
As the name implies, Forest Mind method is best practiced in the forest.
The price of a walk is 35 euros/pp. Tailormade Forest Mind events are negotiable per event.
